This post is based on Week One of An Ignatian Prayer Adventure.
Fr. Joseph Tetlow, SJ, responds to the question, “What are the typical graces people can expect as they pray with the Principle and Foundation?” The Principle and Foundation is the first key meditation of the Spiritual Exercises.
Fr. Tetlow’s books include Considering Jesus, Always Discerning, and You Have Called Me by My Name.
Father Tetlow thank u for ur meaningful beginning introduction to Ignatian Spirituality. I am known about ( I have known about and studied it for a number of years, but there was always something new to learn )The beauty is in its simplicity and emphasis on our personal relationship with God. The Holy Spirit that lives within each of us and the importance of tapping into the light within us and sharing that in our world. Every day with the people that God has put in front of us in our lives ;to love and care for and the importance of prayer. Blessings always. I so appreciate ur wisdom and deep faith. Rose Angela
