The Gift of Gratitude

Keeping a gratitude journal in which we write down the particular gifts of each day trains our brains to see the good around us. It also feels great.

And we can’t keep this to ourselves. Studies find that we overestimate how awkward it will be to express our gratitude to others and underestimate how great it will make them feel.

Watch my video reflection below.

  1. I have promised myself that I will be more grateful and express it out loudly. I say a few things I am grateful for before my feet touch the floor each morning. It changes my whole day. On that thought I want others to believe in thankfulness. Our family prayed very hard recently with all our friends for my brother’s PET test to show no cancer. On Wednesday his results came back perfectly clear of cancer! We want all to know our thankfulness! God is awesome and gracious! Praise God!
