Monday is July 1, so that means we’re kicking off our fourth annual 31 Days with St. Ignatius. This month-long celebration of Ignatian spirituality leads up to the feast day of its namesake on July 31. We’ve put together a calendar of Ignatian articles, videos, and prayers for you to be inspired daily.
We’ll also be welcoming some guest bloggers to dotMagis during July, so see what’s new each weekday here as we explore what makes Ignatian spirituality special. Please join in the celebration by adding your own thoughts in the comments to this or any post.
I am looking forward to the 2014 celebration. This will be a new format for me and will add to me discovery of saints, their meanings and using their assistance in my prayer life.
Is there still a link to the 31 days on the website? I never made it through all of the articles, and I really enjoyed some of them that I would like to reread them in the future.
never mind. I found it 🙂
God is here!
Thanks for doing this again. I learned so much from this ‘program’ last July. Wouldn’t it be great if the parishes could organize small groups for people who desire to go deeper in Ignatian spirituality?
Thank you!
I just read my first day with St. Ignatius, I look forward to the rest of the month. What a great way to begin the month of my favorite Saint.
I’m excited to join…
Thank you so much. Looking forward to this . God bless you more on the works you do. AMDG
I’m looking forward to the next 31 days and daily thoughts of reminder and spiritual boost. Thanks for this.
We want to be proud of our human dignity, love, peace, respect to one another around the world.
Ready to begin on Monday. So looking forward to this as I begin my new ministry as Director of Lifelong Faith Formation.
All best to you in your new ministry, Kathy!
Thanks for doing this again! I really enjoyed last year and so this year I planned an 8-day Retreat at the Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House during July!
Thank you. This should wonderful as I desire to be so immersed in this spirituality which has been so lifegiving to me after being in a spiritual desert got thirty years
Hurray! I’m looking forward to this. Is there an Ignatius novena available for the last 9 days?
Deborah, there are several options available by doing a Web search. One of particular interest is from Pray-as-you-go: http://www.pray-as-you-go.org/wayofignatius.htm.
That sounds nice, I won’t have much access to the internet next month, but I’ll do my best to keep myself updated with the 31 Days!
Joanna, the calendar will remain available to you after July, if August would be a more convenient time for you to follow along.
thank you and thank you for posting the novena link!
Thank you, I’m really looking forward to these 31 Days!!
This could really be helpful for me now. Thank you!
Last year you had a little widget that folks could put up on their blogs, if I remember correctly. Will you be doing that again? I’d love to put that on mine.
Thanks and I’m looking forward to the celebration.
Ginny, thanks for wanting to help spread the word! The widget is available by scrolling to the bottom of the 31 Days with St. Ignatius page.
Marvelous! Thanks.
Thank you very much for this.As someone relatively new to Ignatian spirituality I’m really looking forward to it.
Thank you for doing this once again. It is a valuable resource and I appreciate it very much.
