Gratitude Isn’t Seasonal

Gratitude is a central aspect of Ignatian spirituality, yet even we here at dotMagis fall into recognizing it mostly during November. Laura Hochstein counters the idea that gratitude is seasonal in her article, “The Gift of Year-Round Gratitude.”

Read these two pullout lines that merit further reflection:

  1. “And I knew the easiest road to love is by way of gratitude.”
  2. “Gratitude is the gift that opens our hearts and lengthens our perspectives, even in the midst of a crazy day or morning.”

Does one of these lines speak to you today? How will you practice gratitude this week?
