Exploring the Examen: A Webinar with Ignatian Friends

Exploring the Examen: A Webinar with Ignatian Friends - panelists pictured: Fr. Mark E. Thibodeaux, SJ, Jim Manney, Paul Mitchell, and Becky Eldredge

St. Ignatius Loyola taught his followers that the most important moment of their day was the time set aside to pray the daily Examen. He firmly believed these few moments spent with God affect every other moment of our day and enable us to recognize God in our daily living. To help in our understanding of this 500-year-old practice, we’ve gathered a panel of experts in Ignatian spirituality for a webinar exploring the riches of the daily Examen. Our panelists are:

  • Fr. Mark E. Thibodeaux, SJ
  • Jim Manney
  • Paul Mitchell
  • Becky Eldredge

  4. I am not a Catholic, however, during COVID, I began reading a great deal about Benedictine and Ignatian practices. Since then, I have been blessed to begin receiving spiritual guidance from a director who has suggested I look the Examen. I am looking forward to learning more about this spiritual discipline!
