Pentecost
bathed in morning sun,
and wonder at the work
of Spirit’s breath
between the leaves;
what You have begun
You will fulfill,
and we who wait
so deep in peace
can feel so close
the heart’s caress,
Your touch in us to be disguised,
and go to make the day begin / be done in You,
breathing / breathed on Spirit’s breath,
branches asked to dance.
Come Dance with Me
But Lord, there is no music.
Just dance with Me.
I am guiding you.
I am guiding you,
and you may know
nothing about it.
You don’t have to
hear the music
or know the steps.
Just follow Me.
You are like light
which enters a room
and transforms it.
You have no idea
how much good
you are accomplishing
by dancing with Me.
I TOO AM A DANCER WITH THE GREATNESS OF GOD IN AL THINGS AND PEOPLE. MAY THE GIFT OF SHARING OUR EXPERIENCE OF THE ONE WHO IS WITHIN AND AROUND US CONTINUE TO FILL THE EARTH WITH MUSIC AND DANCE. THANK YOU
Thank you again Mary Ellen for your truly inspirational words. As I mentioned to you in my last reply comment, I greatly look forward to news your poems have successfully found a publisher. You fully deserve your poems to reach as wide an audience around the world.

I want You to take my hand an lead me out the door and walk me through the trees and be the breath that I so lack and take my heart and make it beat in tune with Yours. And if I am to meet You soon let those who tend me know You are there, Loving me.
Your poem helps me remember a time when I was able to do the dances of theNative American’s. For me to dance was & is a moment to move beyond myself and into a place that borders the divine. And now, I dance with the Lord. Thank you!
We have no need to know what a difference we make, we just know that God is the lead. This makes the dance emotionally perfect.
Beautiful…the Spirit’s breath, alive throughout the world, and dancing with me!
A lovely paean to God Most High. Dancing with Jesus!! How wonderful!!
Thank you for your evocative poems, Mary. Much to ponder, reflect and wonder. God bless you
Your poetry touched me deeply, Mary Ellen. For years, often, my meditation flows to dancing with Jesus on the seashore. A very loving and calming reflection.

Pow. In moments I will participate in SpiritPlay for the first time. As I sit in my car awaiting the arrival of more of God’s beloved “movers and shakers,” taking in these words of dance and spirit delight my soul. Thank you, Mary Ellen Smajo. Thank you.
