Cristo Rey Students Talk with Pope Francis

Students at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago met Pope Francis via satellite for a conversation in advance of the Pope’s visit to the United States later this month. Groups from McAllen, Texas, and Los Angeles also participated in the special event moderated by ABC News. The event will air on a 20/20 special this Friday, September 4 at 9 p.m. CST. The full conversation will be available in English and Spanish on ABCNews.com.

Pope Francis asked one of the Cristo Rey students to sing for him, which she did with encouragement from her classmates. Watch that touching moment below.
