Tuesday you saw me talk about the examen in a short video. Today you can read blog posts about the examen by a Presbyterian pastor in Florida and an Episcopalian science teacher in Pennsylvania. What can I say? I love the examen. It’s examen week.

I’m sure you’re also aware of the Baptist http://www.examen.me website? I go back to that periodically to jumpstart my examen when I’m getting lax. The journalling helps me focus. Most of what’s on there is not the examen. However, it’s still an excellent tool. I love the unguided journal where you can search scripture; I just use my own outline for the examen (as you Jesuits have taught me) and import scripture to help my reflections.
as for me, I am in Pennsylvania, an Episcopalian and a science teacher. Thanks.
Thanks for the link – but I can only wish that I were in Florida! It looks suspiciously like Ohio out there.
