A few years ago, I wrote this poem on Good Friday, as I worked around the house and tried to consider Christ’s Passion. I hope it adds something to your reflections on this holy weekend.

Thank you Vinita, this resonates with me, helping me pause through the day to contemplate the Lord’s Passion. Unlike the disciples who where with Him, we have the anticipation of the celebration ahead, and sometimes through all the preparation I can lose sight of the Sacrifice. This poem helps me to walk with Jesus in my own imperfect way as I live through this day. May God bless you. Barbara
