The prospect of becoming a “contemplative in action” is one of the most appealing features of Ignatian spirituality. I like what Fr. Adolfo Nicolás, the Jesuit Superior General, has to say about it in this interview with Eric Sundrup, SJ, of the Jesuit Post.
Check out four other videos in the TJP YouTube channel, where Father General discusses youth ministry, social media, vocations, and Pope Francis.
Another little gem of Ignatian spirituality. Thank you.
I relish silence whenever I ca find it.
To be present with God in the middle of a noisy crowd is life-giving for me. I also need to take the time to be totally alone with God in prayer and meditation in order to experience contemplation in action.
