Praying the Examen

People who come to me for spiritual direction take to the examen like ducks to water. But most interesting is the fact these people are members of diverse religious groups.

Becky hits on a key point of the Examen, recollecting oneself in God’s presence. From there, the overview of the day’s events become a shared dialogue with God, a different experience than just ego-driven thinking about all that has taken place.
