I like the issue you are bring up in this vid, but I am not sure there is an easy answer for those of us seeking a community to be a part of.
For example, I am deeply attracted to Ingation and Benedictine spirituality, while at the same time have a history in the Reformed and Charismatic traditions.
Which of these communities should I join and devote myself to?
Which community has all the right answers regarding “truth”?
Whats wrong with creating a new community that blend spirituality from a number of traditions, but avoids getting trapped in dogma debates?
I would love to join a historic community, but can’t find one that is wide enough to embrace many “truths”, as they only seem to want to advance their narrow “truth”.
At the same time I am open to suggestions…
