I beg of you, my Lord,
to remove anything which separates
me from you, and you from me.
Remove anything that makes me unworthy
of your sight, your control, your reprehension;
of your speech and conversation,
of your benevolence and love.
Cast from me every evil
that stands in the way of my seeing you,
hearing, tasting, savoring, and touching you;
fearing and being mindful of you;
knowing, trusting, loving, and possessing you;
being conscious of your presence
and, as far as may be, enjoying you.
This is what I ask for myself
and earnestly desire from you. Amen.

Love it because sometimes I wonder do god care for me and get sad I need pray
Beautiful prayer from the heart. Oh how I love our God. He is our very breath , He is the very life force in our souls. May our love be like a fire within. May it consume us with love for Him alone.
Detachment sets us free to contemplate the work of the Lord. It is freeing in its very essence from the smallest act of detaching from a material gift to the detachment of ourselves from ourselves. With this freeing ability we become more able and free to concentrate on the concerns of the Holy Spirit We give to those in need the warmth, tenderness and compassion of love that is the sparkle and joy of human life. Detachment gives us the ability to give without pause.
Detachment makes us free.
In my morning devotional this was my prayer. As Christmas draws near let us reunite our faith with our intentions to draw closer to Our Savior! Praise the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
