A Portrait of Ignatius

by Jim Manney

Anthony Vanarsdale did this portrait of St. Ignatius to mark his feast day last week.  It looks like an oil painting but it’s all digital.  He painted the image in Photoshop.

The image is displayed on the sketchblog of the Catholic Illustrator’s Guild.

It’s amazing what a talented computer artist can create! I really like this image of Ignatius.

Thanks for posting this and for the link. I’m just learning how to use photoshop and illustrator to make art, now that I can’t see well enough for making traditional art.
