It’s time for what I’m calling IgnatiusFest—the month-long celebration of all things Ignatian that’s becoming an annual tradition here on IgnatianSpirituality.com. Festivities begin tomorrow, July 1, and continue until St. Ignatius’s feast day on July 31.
We have a calendar called 31 Days with St. Ignatius which offers something deliciously Ignatian for each day of the month. Just click on the link and you’ll be taken to that day’s video, blog post, prayer, or article.
We’re inviting you to join in. Please add your own reflections about the way you’ve been touched by St. Ignatius and the spiritual outlook that bears his name. Put them in the comments, and I’ll highlight them throughout the month.

Ignatius was a holy man and a natural one at the same time just like the rest of us. Even while he made saintly history he kept his ego intact. Sound familiar?
Yay! A month long celebration of Ignatius! Exciting!
The link for the 1st day of the 31 day calendar for ?Fest does not work with my iPad. I was able to open and watch the video on St. Ignatius by Fr. Martin. Was that the same as the 1st day topic of “What is Ignatian Spirituality?”
Cliff, the calendar topics and posts here on dotMagis will be different all month. Today’s calendar entry points to: What Is Ignatian Spirituality? Thanks for letting us know about the iPad issue.
Thank you for this…I would like to make this 31 days in union with you. And praying for you as well during these Days..
Im excited. My students love to hear stories about the lives of the saints, Ignatius of Loyola in particular. It makes me sing “Fundador”!
Just a follow-up to my previous comment for anyone using the iPad. I still haven’t been able to use the PDF 31 day calendar, but I’ve found that I can easily access the daily blogs for IgnatianFest through the Facebook page for Ignatian Spirituality.
This is a wonderful Ignatian gift for the month of July. Enables us to grow closer to God on a daily basis.
Blessings to all who made this happen.
Thank you.
The links do not work on iPhone either. thought you would like to know.
Thanks for the 6 part post on the Lunchtime Examen. I try to do this prayer every morning. Good to have more insight, but also good to just DO IT!
One more comment on the iPad – Adobe Flash is not supported. I’ll have to use my desktop computer to view those.
I followed this month-long celebration of IgnatiusFest for the first time last year. When the month was over, my interest in the Ignatian Spirituality grew much stronger. I started reading about Discernment, making decisions… even tried to practice some. The best part is that God has become closer. Life has also presented some difficulties during the year. Thanks to His Grace. Also thanks to this most helpful website.
